Role summary

This full-time, on-site position is for a Sales Operations Coordinator based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The role calls for a proactive professional with strong attention to detail and practical experience in handling customer requests, preparing quotations, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating effectively with both customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and RFQs quickly, accurately, and in a professional manner.
• Create precise quotations and manage timely follow-ups with clients.
• Prepare and process purchase orders with accuracy.
• Research, source, and liaise with local and overseas suppliers for industrial products according to client needs.
• Keep organized records of sales activities, orders, customer communications, and supplier correspondence.
• Help ensure on-time delivery and a positive customer experience.
• Assist with day-to-day operational work and administrative support.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal ability.
• Practical experience in handling RFQs, supplier sourcing, and order coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under time constraints.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel for quotations, tracking, and supplier comparisons.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical problem-solving approach.

Preferred background

• Prior experience in a trading environment or a similar industrial procurement role.
• Familiarity with the UAE market.
• Exposure to sourcing from China or other international markets.
