Role Overview
In this Sales Development Representative role, you will partner closely with Account Executives to help generate new business for the corporate sales team. The position brings together sales, marketing, and sales development efforts to increase the volume and quality of qualified opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify, educate, qualify, and nurture prospects until they are ready for sales follow-up.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to refine processes and share feedback.
- Reach out to prospects by phone and email to build interest.
- Research target accounts, identify decision-makers, and uncover new opportunities.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executive and provide context as needed.
- Handle objections professionally and work toward positive next steps.
- Consistently meet qualified opportunity targets that support territory revenue goals.
- Give and receive constructive feedback as part of day-to-day teamwork.
Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales setting is preferred.
- Strong organization and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy sales environment.
- Clear phone manner, active listening skills, and strong written communication.
- High standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of common business tools such as email, voicemail, and MS Office.
- Sales training and experience with Salesforce.com are advantageous.
- A four-year college degree is required.
