Risk Analyst

Role overview

This contract position is for a Risk Intelligence Analyst supporting a client through Hire Feed. The role is focused on identifying and evaluating potential financial, operational, and reputational exposures, then turning those findings into practical recommendations. You will work with cross-functional teams to strengthen risk assessment processes and help ensure alignment with applicable regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial, operational, and reputational risk patterns using internal tools and data sources.
• Build and improve risk models that help anticipate new threats and weak points.
• Prepare clear reports on risk levels and suggested mitigation measures.
• Track regulatory updates and evaluate how they affect existing risk management practices.
• Share insights with stakeholders to support decisions and policy changes.

Required skills and qualifications

• Prior experience in risk analysis, financial modelling, or data-led decision support.
• Comfort using risk intelligence platforms, databases, or analytical applications.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability to work through complex datasets.
• Ability to explain technical risk findings to audiences without a technical background.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as AML, KYC, or GDPR is an advantage.
