Role Overview
We are looking for an Emirati receptionist who is highly organised, self-driven, and attentive to detail. The right candidate should communicate confidently, manage priorities well, and stay effective in a busy office setting.
This position is open only to Emirati nationals.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls, direct them to the right people, and share messages accurately by email.
- Welcome guests in a professional manner and help create a friendly first impression.
- Deliver strong customer service while supporting a professional corporate image.
- Receive and dispatch mail and courier items, and keep proper tracking records.
- Arrange meeting room reservations, manage schedules, and support conference calls when needed.
- Support travel booking needs, car hire arrangements, and accommodation for visitors.
- Prepare access cards for new employees and handle official email forwarding tasks.
- Monitor office stationery and supply levels, and coordinate with support staff and drivers.
- Keep reception and client-facing areas tidy, well presented, and stocked with current materials.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, follow company procedures, and complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma in secretarial studies or administration lasting 2 years.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position; experience in a professional services environment is an added advantage.
- Strong practical knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and internet browsing.
- Solid understanding of office processes and procedures.
- Working knowledge of record management and filing practices.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong people skills with the ability to build rapport easily.
- Good planning, coordination, and organisational ability.
- Ability to work on your own as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion at all times.
