Role Overview
This front-of-house role focuses on creating an excellent first impression for guests and ensuring their experience runs smoothly from arrival to departure. The receptionist will manage day-to-day desk operations, support guests with information and requests, and work closely with other hotel teams to deliver a welcoming and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and set a positive tone for their stay from the moment they arrive.
- Manage arrivals, departures and all related front desk activities with efficiency and professionalism.
- Act as a knowledgeable local resource by recommending dining spots, hidden gems and nearby attractions.
- Handle phone calls, reservation activity and guest requests while maintaining a helpful and upbeat approach.
- Keep the reception area tidy, organised and inviting at all times.
- Work in coordination with housekeeping and maintenance so rooms are prepared and guest issues are resolved quickly.
- Provide thoughtful, personalised service that helps make each stay memorable.
