Role Overview
Novelus is hiring a PMO Executive Manager to oversee the planning of time and resources across projects, with a focus on controlling usage and reducing waste. This position will guide cross-functional project management activities and help ensure that cost, schedule, and resource objectives are achieved across the organization’s portfolio of projects and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of detailed execution plans for projects and contracts, covering budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Examine design approaches and execution procedures to find ways to reduce cost, time, and resource consumption.
- Make sure execution plans are created, documented, and kept current in the company ERP system.
- Monitor project expenses and resource usage closely against approved budgets using the ERP platform.
- Follow project progress and performance trends to spot possible deviations early.
- Contribute to supply chain-related activities whenever support is required.
- Apply, maintain, and improve company and group policies, procedures, systems such as ISO, and other applicable standards.
- Provide the COO with timely and accurate updates on project cost and the financial impact of project progress.
- Assist with budgeting and ensure Finance and Controlling requirements are built into planning workflows.
- Prepare regular and accurate reports for the COO and other stakeholders on financial and operational project status.
- Carry out additional tasks or deliverables assigned by the COO from time to time.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of business line projects and contracts, including phases, execution flow, rules, and procedures.
- Solid knowledge of project financial management.
- Advanced command of project planning methods and tools.
- Excellent analytical ability, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Awareness of international and local standards relevant to the role.
- Advanced reporting capability and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
