Role overview

We are hiring a meticulous Payroll Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for an on-site, full-time position. This role focuses on ensuring payroll is processed correctly and on time, while maintaining accurate records, validating transactions, and supporting reporting, reconciliation, and compliance activities.

The right candidate will bring strong analytical ability, a sharp eye for detail, and practical experience using payroll platforms, with SAP Payroll being the preferred system.

What you'll do

  • Run monthly payroll processes accurately and within the required deadlines.
  • Check payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, deductions, salary revisions, and employee master data changes.
  • Confirm that payroll calculations align with internal policies and relevant labor laws.
  • Keep payroll records current and accurate in payroll and HR systems.
  • Work with HR, Finance, and other teams to fix payroll discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll summaries, reconciliation statements, and related support files.
  • Assist with payroll audits by organizing and sharing the needed records and documentation.
  • Support end-of-service benefits, final settlements, and other compensation-related payments.
  • Help ensure adherence to GOSI, the Wage Protection System (WPS), and other statutory obligations.
  • Respond to employee payroll questions in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Contribute to payroll system testing, improvements, and process optimization efforts.
  • Protect the privacy and confidentiality of payroll and compensation data.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • Professional payroll, accounting, finance, or HR certifications are an added advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in payroll administration, payroll processing, finance operations, HR operations, or a comparable function.
  • Practical, hands-on experience with SAP Payroll.
  • Prior exposure to payroll operations in medium or large organizations is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Saudi labor regulations, GOSI requirements, and payroll compliance standards.
  • Experience in Retail, Retail Apparel & Fashion, Real Estate, or Software Development is beneficial.
