Role overview
This is a permanent Payroll Executive position within a manufacturing company focused on appliances, electrical products, and electronics. The role is based at Bedok Industrial Estate, with transportation provided, and follows a standard five-day workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM. The compensation package includes basic salary, transport allowance, variable bonus, and medical benefits.
Core responsibilities
- Run the monthly payroll cycle for non-executive staff while ensuring all payroll activities comply with employment rules and regulations.
- Check and balance payroll records, including payroll registers, bank upload files, and tax calculations.
- Compile payroll-related reports on a weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis.
- Manage statutory and regulatory filings such as IR21, annual IR8A, NS make-up pay reimbursements, Government-Paid Leave claims, and any other mandatory submissions or surveys.
- Provide support for compliance checks, regulatory matters, and audit exercises whenever required.
- Contribute to the end-to-end recruitment process when needed.
- Take on additional tasks and ad-hoc assignments as directed.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant should have at least one year of payroll experience. A Certificate in Human Resources is preferred. Practical experience using payroll software is required, along with strong familiarity with HRIS platforms and advanced Excel skills. The person should be dependable, highly discreet when dealing with confidential information, and attentive to detail when reviewing HR and payroll data. Strong patience, a service-oriented mindset, and clear, solution-driven communication are also important.

This role is a permanent full-time position. The workplace is in Bedok Industrial Estate, and transport is provided for staff. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM. The salary package consists of basic pay, transport allowance, variable bonus, and medical coverage.
