Role overview

McLoughlin Decorating is a long-established, award-winning contractor with more than 30 years in the industry. The company has delivered work on some of London’s best-known projects and handles contracts valued from £10,000 up to £4,000,000. It is currently growing its team to support a number of long-term projects across London and the South East, with project timelines ranging from 3 to 10 years.

Important application criteria

Applicants should only apply if they have more than 3 years of experience and a valid CSCS card. Submissions that do not meet these two conditions will not be reviewed.

Main duties

• Carry out scheduled planned works and responsive repairs so interior and exterior finishes remain in excellent condition.
• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by filling, sanding, and applying undercoat where needed.
• Deliver painting and finishing work to a consistently high-quality standard.
• Complete snagging, minor repair, touch-up, and full redecoration tasks as required.
• Apply oil-based, acrylic, cellulose, and emulsion finishes with a high level of workmanship.
• Coordinate with other trades to complete and refine finishes following engineering or installation work.

Working arrangements

This is a full-time, on-site role based in London, England, United Kingdom. The usual pattern is an 8-hour day shift, Monday to Friday.

Pay and start

The role pays £148.93 per day and is expected to begin as soon as possible.
