Operations Process Engineer

Role Overview

An Operations Process Engineer focuses on improving manufacturing, production, or industrial workflows so they run more efficiently, produce better quality output, stay safer, and cost less. The role involves reviewing process performance, resolving equipment-related problems, creating standard operating procedures, and introducing practical technology improvements that increase production capacity while staying within safety and regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Review existing production or manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to raise efficiency, productivity, and yield.
• Plan, test, and roll out new equipment or process enhancements that strengthen production capability.
• Investigate day-to-day operational and machinery issues, then implement solutions that reduce downtime.
• Create and maintain technical records such as SOPs, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Make sure operations meet safety, environmental, and quality expectations, including ISO-related standards.
• Track key performance indicators such as cycle time and yield to support informed, data-led decisions.
• Train operators on revised procedures and coordinate closely with maintenance, quality, and production teams.
