Role overview
G4S is looking for a Night Security Officer in Belfast. This frontline role focuses on keeping customers, employees, buildings, and assets safe while also delivering a friendly and professional customer experience. You’ll be working in a busy, people-facing environment where every day can bring different tasks and situations.
Key duties
In this position, you will welcome staff and visitors, make sure security procedures are followed, carry out searches when needed, patrol the site, and respond to security-related incidents. The role also involves supporting events and maintaining a secure, well-run environment for everyone on site.
Shift pattern and pay
The role offers a pay rate of £12.96 per hour. Shifts vary across Monday to Sunday on a 4-on, 4-off pattern.
What we are looking for
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and able to communicate confidently, work well within a team, and provide a courteous, professional service at all times. Good IT skills are important. You should be flexible enough to work different shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Previous security experience and an SIA licence would be helpful, but they are not required because full SIA licence training is provided. As this is a mobile role, you must also hold a full clean driving licence and have your own transport.
Training and progression
