About the internship
This is a full-time, on-site mechanical engineering internship with a startup focused on unmanned marine vehicle solutions across commercial, defense, and scientific applications. The work involves practical support in mechanical design, fabrication, prototyping, and finishing tasks for marine, submarine, and airborne technology projects.
What you’ll do
- Support fabrication, design, and profile development for mechanical components.
- Assist with 3D printing tasks as well as related design work.
- Help with machining, tool-based operations, and final finishing.
Who can apply
Candidates must be available for a full-time, in-office internship, be able to begin between 4 Jul 2026 and 8 Aug 2026, and commit for 3 months. Applicants should be from Chakan only and have relevant skills and a genuine interest in the field. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are welcome to apply. Mechanical engineering students and freshers may also be considered.
Stipend and compensation
The internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹10,000 to ₹24,000. The stipend is split into fixed pay of ₹5,000 to ₹12,000 per month and incentive pay of ₹5,000 to ₹12,000 per month.
Perks and future opportunity
Interns may receive a certificate, a letter of recommendation, and a job offer. If converted to a permanent role, the expected annual salary is ₹3,00,000 to ₹5,00,000.
