About the company
Emirates Engineering is hiring seasoned Licensed Aircraft Engineers to work from Dubai. This role suits professionals who want to contribute in a fast-moving aviation maintenance environment.
Role overview
In this position, you will handle scheduled maintenance and defect rectification for aircraft while following company standards and aviation regulations. The role calls for careful attention to safety, correct use of manufacturer guidance, and steady coordination with team members and supervisors.
Key responsibilities
- Complete aircraft maintenance and servicing activities in line with manufacturer instructions and safety requirements.
- Ensure the allocated aircraft or work area is kept current with the latest approved technical documentation.
- Manage off-aircraft duties such as spare parts handling and paperwork in accordance with company processes.
- Select the right tools and equipment for the job and apply practical, cost-efficient fault-finding methods.
- Carry out component replacements as required using AMM, IPC, or other manufacturer references.
- Follow safety regulations at all times, keep the work area tidy, and report any issues or shortcomings promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues, managers, and senior engineers regarding operational matters and information updates.
- Prepare detailed reports on delays, incidents, and accidents to support maintenance planning and process improvement.
- Oversee staff performance through reviews, objective setting, and development planning.
- Participate in required training sessions to strengthen capability and remain compliant with CAR 145 requirements.
Eligibility and qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent apprenticeship-based qualification in Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a certifying staff capacity is required.
