Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Learning & Development Specialist role is based in Las Vegas, NV. The position supports the Learning & Development function through course facilitation, tracking and reporting on learning activity, and assisting with the creation, refinement, and rollout of new training programs.

The compensation target for this role is a base salary of $60,000 to $65,000, with eligibility for bonus pay.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead training sessions across the property, including onboarding, systems, guest service, compliance, and department-specific programs in both classroom and virtual formats.
  • Apply the ADDIE framework to build learning content such as activities, facilitator guides, job aids, and multimedia handouts.
  • Handle training program coordination and logistics, including Tuition Reimbursement and ESL programs, while also working with outside vendors, managing calendars, reserving facilities, and maintaining records.
  • Measure learning outcomes through assessments and recommend improvements based on training results.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in training, facilitation, or hotel/casino operations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a closely related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems, training authoring/design tools, and Microsoft Office, with advanced PowerPoint skills required.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning methods, excellent presentation and writing ability, and a polished professional presentation.

Preferred Background

  • More than 5 years of learning and development experience.
  • Deep familiarity with luxury service expectations.
  • Exposure to leadership development training and multimedia content production.
  • Active learning and development certifications or professional memberships.
