Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is based at the Wall Street English center in Dubai. The Language Coach / Reception team member plays a key part in supporting learners across their journey by helping them work through lesson plans, sharing feedback on progress, and motivating regular practice to strengthen English communication. The role also covers reception and front-desk responsibilities such as greeting learners and guests, answering calls and walk-in queries, arranging and updating class schedules, and keeping records and documentation accurate and up to date.
What You Will Do
In this position, you will work closely with teaching and administrative colleagues, assist with center events and activities, and help maintain a polished, welcoming, and learner-centered atmosphere throughout the day.
Qualifications
- You should bring strong communication and customer service abilities, along with the confidence to deal professionally and considerately with learners and visitors from varied backgrounds.
- Prior exposure to reception work and clerical tasks such as welcoming guests, coordinating calendars, handling basic paperwork, and keeping organized files is expected.
- You need good phone manners and the ability to manage incoming and outgoing calls, respond to questions, and explain services and programs clearly.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus in a multicultural setting.
- Previous experience in customer-facing environments, education, training, or language centers is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy is needed, including comfort with office applications and digital tools for scheduling, communication, and data entry.
- Good organizational ability, dependability, and flexibility to work as part of a team in a busy center are important.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related area such as Education, Languages, Hospitality, or Business is an advantage, although equivalent experience may also be considered.
