Kitchen Porter

Role overview

We are hiring a Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen in our London restaurant. This role is essential to keeping the back-of-house area clean, organised, and ready for service, helping chefs and the wider team work efficiently.

The position offers pay of up to £12.71 per hour, along with tronc and other benefits.

What you will do

• Keep plates, cutlery, and kitchen tools washed and ready for use throughout service, making sure standards of cleanliness are consistently high.
• Help maintain a smooth workflow across front-of-house and back-of-house teams so the restaurant operates efficiently.
• Stay familiar with the menu and take interest in the food being served.
• Keep the kitchen tidy by helping ensure shelves, corners, and storage areas are clean and well organised.
• Support the restaurant in presenting itself to the expected standards and following internal policies, processes, and guidelines.
