Junior Engineer

Role overview

Twintual is looking for a junior engineer who is eager to learn quickly inside a compact, highly technical team. This is a hands-on role where you start contributing from the first week. You will not be confined to low-impact training tasks; instead, you will work on real product features, production bugs, and customer-facing issues alongside senior engineers who will review your work and help sharpen your skills.

What you will do

• Develop and repair product functionality across FlutterFlow for mobile and Next.js for web.
• Create Supabase edge functions and write SQL queries when needed.
• Support the integration of new communication channels with direction from senior engineers.
• Write tests, stabilize flaky test cases, and investigate issues reported by actual users.
• Take part in code reviews by both receiving feedback and reviewing others' work.
• Capture what you learn in clear documentation so future hires can move faster.

90-day objective

Within the first three months, you should have delivered production features, encountered and resolved at least one real issue, and begun forming your own opinions about engineering practices and product development.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of professional experience; internships, side projects, and open-source contributions are all considered.
• Comfort reading and writing JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Evidence that you have built and released something for real users, whether a university project or a personal app.
• Basic understanding of databases, REST APIs, and Git.
• A fast learning mindset, with the ability to solve unknowns independently and ask thoughtful questions.
• You should be able to retain guidance without needing the same point repeated multiple times.

Nice to have

• Exposure to FlutterFlow, Supabase, Vercel, or Google Cloud.
• Any experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• A GitHub profile with code samples that can be reviewed.
• Comfort using English in a remote, asynchronous team environment.
