Job overview
Agro Boa Esperança is looking for an early-career Cloud Engineer to join its IT function in France. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and services, while contributing to wider cloud transformation efforts across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing upkeep of cloud environments.
- Track infrastructure health, uptime, performance, and security across cloud systems.
- Help deliver cloud-based solutions and related services.
- Investigate and resolve issues affecting cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Work with IT, development, and operations teams on cloud initiatives and projects.
- Assist with resource administration, backup activities, and disaster recovery processes.
- Keep technical records and operational procedures up to date.
- Contribute to system upgrades, migration work, and cloud efficiency improvements.
- Follow security standards and established best practices.
Required profile
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- You should have a foundational understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and virtualization is expected.
- Comfort with Linux and Windows server environments is needed.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability are important.
- Good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
- A willingness to learn and grow in cloud engineering is required.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior exposure through an internship or earlier work in IT support, system administration, or cloud-related roles is preferred.
- Experience with scripting tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is useful.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows is preferred.
- Cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are considered a plus.
