Junior Accountant

Job Overview

An automotive client in Sharjah is looking to hire a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations on site. This role is suited to someone who has a solid grasp of core accounting concepts and is comfortable handling routine records, reconciliations, and reporting support in a fast-paced team environment.

What You’ll Need to Handle

• Maintain accurate accounting records and support the preparation of general ledger entries.
• Work with financial data in spreadsheets or accounting/ERP systems while keeping information organized and reliable.
• Assist with invoice processing, transaction checks, and account reconciliations.
• Help ensure that reporting tasks are completed within required timelines.
• Coordinate with finance team members and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Operate from the Sharjah office and contribute positively in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• A good grounding in accounting basics, including ledger work and financial record maintenance.
• Experience or comfort using tools such as Excel, ERP platforms, or other accounting software.
• Strong focus on accuracy, along with solid numerical ability.
• Good organization and time management to balance several tasks at once.
• Clear communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior colleagues.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or relevant hands-on experience.
