About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, service-oriented IT Support Analyst at an entry level to join a growing technology team. This opportunity suits new graduates, people changing careers, and early-stage professionals who want to start a career in IT support and technical operations.
In this position, you will help users with technical issues, resolve hardware and software problems, support business systems, and contribute to smooth daily technology operations. The role is fully remote and offers practical experience while working alongside experienced IT specialists.
Responsibilities
- Handle initial support requests from users through email, phone, chat, and ticketing tools.
- Diagnose and work through issues involving hardware, software, networks, and systems.
- Help with account creation, password resets, and permission or access requests.
- Record, monitor, and close support tickets in line with SLA expectations.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and other common workplace applications.
- Assist with setting up devices, installing software, and applying system updates.
- Pass more complex issues to senior IT staff when escalation is needed.
- Keep support notes and knowledge base documentation accurate and up to date.
- Observe IT systems and contribute to routine maintenance tasks.
- Deliver clear, helpful technical support and a strong customer experience.
Requirements
- Good troubleshooting ability and a structured approach to solving problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication with a customer-first mindset.
- Careful attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
- Interest in technology and a willingness to keep learning.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setup.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to build technical knowledge.
- Ability to juggle several tasks and priorities at once.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related subject.
- Fresh graduates and candidates at entry level are welcome.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and standard business software.
- Any exposure to Active Directory, cloud platforms, or IT ticketing tools is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar are helpful but not mandatory.
- Experience gained through internships, academic work, customer service, or technical support is an advantage.
