Descrição da vaga
Role overview
This role sits within Google Cloud’s go-to-market organization and focuses on taking frontier GenAI capabilities into real customer environments. The engineer works hands-on with customers, building and shipping tailored agentic AI solutions that move from prototype to production. The position blends coding, debugging, solution design, and customer collaboration, with an emphasis on removing the technical barriers that typically prevent enterprise AI deployments from scaling.
The role also serves as a two-way bridge: it helps customers implement advanced AI systems while feeding practical learnings back into Google Cloud’s product and engineering teams. The work includes applying Gemini models, Vertex AI, and related cloud tools to solve business problems, while collaborating with customer teams and internal experts to deliver successful outcomes.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing software with Python or a comparable programming language.
- Background in designing AI systems on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience creating data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-style architectures for enterprise AI use cases.
- Proven ability to take AI solutions from concept through production launch for customers.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia.
Preferred qualifications
- Advanced degree such as a master’s or PhD in AI, computer science, or another technical field.
- Experience building multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or Agent Development Kit, along with patterns like ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation.
- Experience running technical discovery sessions.
- Understanding of LLM-focused metrics such as tokens per second and cost per request, plus approaches for improving state handling and detailed tracing.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex AI applications and move them from proof of concept to production-ready agentic workflows, including multi-agent systems and MCP servers, with a clear focus on business impact and ROI.
- Create the integration layer between Google’s AI offerings and customer systems, working across APIs, legacy data sources, and security boundaries as part of a specialist team.
- Design evaluation pipelines and observability tooling that help ensure agent-based solutions meet expectations for accuracy, safety, and response latency.
- Spot recurring customer challenges and deployment patterns, then convert them into reusable building blocks or product feedback for engineering teams; also collaborate closely with customer engineers to establish strong engineering practices and support long-term adoption.
- Explain technical ideas clearly to both business leaders and Bahasa Indonesia-speaking stakeholders who may not be deeply technical.
Work authorization and hiring preference
Applicants who already have the legal right to work in Singapore will be given priority. Candidates who would need visa sponsorship from Google are not the preferred group for this role.
Equal opportunity
Google states that it is an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status. Applicants with criminal histories may also be considered in line with applicable law. Reasonable accommodation can be requested if needed during the application process.
