About the Role
ESPN Creative Studio is the in-house creative team within ESPN Marketing. The team develops advertising and promotional assets across television, print, digital platforms, and other media to support sports properties, shows, products, services, fans, and external sponsors.
This opportunity is scheduled to run from September 2026 through December 2026.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support post-production work for TV, radio, and social campaign promos by gathering footage, researching content, and helping draft scripts.
- Take part in campaign brainstorming and planning by offering creative ideas and observations.
- Work closely with writers, producers, and designers to help the Creative Team meet its goals and keep projects moving forward.
Required Qualifications and Core Skills
- Relevant academic background in TV production and marketing, along with a clear interest in building creative campaigns.
- Strong creative writing ability and familiarity with developing concepts for ads and promotional content.
- Excellent spoken and written communication, plus careful attention to detail and polished presentation skills.
- Strong enthusiasm for professional and college sports.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-moving environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Background
- Prior exposure to the creative side of sports marketing.
- Interest in and familiarity with the ESPN brand.
- Awareness of music and pop-culture trends that can influence promotional production.
- Understanding of major marketing channels such as TV, print, digital, and social media.
Education
- Senior-year students are preferred.
- Preferred majors or coursework include Marketing, Sports Media, Writing, Film, or a related field.
Eligibility and Program Requirements
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class at the time of application, or be currently enrolled in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Current Disney Interns, College Program participants, International Program participants, or Culinary Program participants may work for no more than one continuous year (12 months) across any internship and/or program combination.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Unrestricted work authorization is required.
Additional Information
- Availability is required Monday through Friday for the full internship term, at 40 hours per week.
- Applicants must be able to secure their own housing in the New York City area for the duration of the program.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay for this position in New York City is $22.50. Some benefits may be included as part of the compensation package, depending on the level and role offered, and may include medical, financial, and other benefits.
