Role overview
Freedom Boat Club New Zealand is hiring Dockhands for its Westhaven Marina location in Auckland. This is a weekend-focused position suited to someone who enjoys being outdoors, working around boats, and dealing with people in a lively marine setting.
What the role involves
- Preparing boats and making sure they are fueled and ready for member use.
- Helping members with the check-in and check-out process.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order across the boats.
- Delivering helpful, friendly customer support on the dock.
What we are looking for
- A cheerful, proactive attitude and strong communication ability.
- Interest in boating or prior time on the water, which is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Availability to work on weekends and some public holidays.
- Comfort working as part of a team outdoors in changing weather conditions.
