Role overview
The Dishwasher role is focused on keeping the kitchen orderly, hygienic, and safe. The person in this position will clean and sanitize dishware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment, and will report directly to the Sous Chef.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least Grade 10. Having worked in a similar role before is considered an advantage.
Compensation
The pay for this position is $16.29 during probation and $17.75 once regular employment begins.
Competencies assessed
Candidates may be evaluated through interviews, written tests, and role-play exercises. The assessment focuses on the ability to solve problems, prioritize customer satisfaction, build positive work relationships, support diversity and inclusion, work well in a team, communicate clearly, and act with honesty and professionalism.
Work eligibility
To be considered, applicants must be 19 years of age or older. They must be eligible to obtain and keep a Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration. Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, is required, and candidates must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
