Role Overview

The Digital Designer will combine visual design, motion design, and digital product design to build polished learning and marketing experiences. The position goes beyond standard graphic design and requires hands-on work across digital, motion, UI, and UX tools. Success in this role depends on producing high-quality work in a business-oriented, customer-focused setting while collaborating closely with project managers, designers, technology teams, partners, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing original visual assets that communicate the intended tone and message in a clear and engaging way. The role also includes selecting appropriate graphics, clip art, and stock imagery when needed.

In addition, the designer will create digital experiences such as user interface layouts, screens, and interactive elements for web-based platforms, LMS environments, and other learning systems. This includes building wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to explain design direction and user journeys, while applying best practices for hierarchy, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.

The role requires close coordination with learning technology and development teams to confirm that design concepts can be implemented accurately. The designer will also produce motion graphics and video content for learning materials, presentations, and digital products, including video editing tasks such as trimming footage, adding titles, transitions, motion elements, and cleaning up audio.

Additional duties include creating UI animations, interactions, and visual transitions; designing and editing learning materials in PowerPoint, including slides and speaker notes; formatting and editing learning guides and related documents in Word; using provided storyboard and template formats; reviewing and refining text, images, and other content prepared by writers and designers; and submitting final assets for print or digital publishing.

The role also involves active collaboration with internal teams and external partners to meet client design needs, asking clarifying questions to fully understand project requirements, responding promptly and helpfully to requests, and staying current with design trends and relevant tools and technologies.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, or a related field is required. The position calls for 3 to 5 years of experience in formatting and graphic design for business-focused solutions.

Candidates must have advanced skill and confidence with Figma, especially for prototyping and design systems, along with strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate, Blender, and at least one UI/UX or prototyping tool such as Sketch or Adobe XD. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word is also expected.

Applicants should be comfortable working collaboratively, demonstrate a strong eye for detail and quality, understand type styles and layout patterns in Word, and be proficient with mobile technology.
