Descrição da vaga

Role overview

The Demand Planning Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Demand Planning and support KIKO North America with hybrid work, including three days onsite in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

This position is accountable for building strong planning and replenishment practices across KIKO’s North American business so that products remain available across freestanding stores, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. The role calls for sharp analytical thinking and the ability to turn data into practical business direction. The right candidate will spot patterns, risks, and opportunities early, then provide clear commentary to support commercial and supply chain choices.

Success in this role also depends on being comfortable in a fast-moving environment where processes may still be taking shape. The manager will be expected to help create, improve, and standardize planning methods and tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Review sell-in and sell-out performance to understand product movement, identify risks and opportunities, and create forward-looking SKU-level forecasts across all North America channels.
  • Convert data into concise insights and recommendations, and share regular business commentary to support cross-functional decisions.
  • Lead product lifecycle planning, including phase-in and phase-out approaches, sell-down strategy, and SKU transitions, while minimizing obsolete inventory.
  • Own replenishment planning for stores, e-commerce, and wholesale, balancing service targets with inventory efficiency.
  • Track and improve core KPIs such as service level, stock coverage, inventory health, and obsolescence, and put corrective actions in place when needed.
  • Ensure store replenishment is accurate and timely for finished goods and POP materials.
  • Detect inventory imbalances, whether excess or shortage, and work with internal partners to address them through rebalancing, promotions, or supply adjustments.
  • Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Assortment, and HQ Supply Chain teams to align demand assumptions, launches, and promotional plans.
  • Serve as a main point of contact between North America and Headquarters Supply Chain teams, maintaining alignment and execution in a matrix structure.
  • Develop, refine, and standardize planning workflows and tools to improve visibility, accuracy, and scalability.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or merchandising, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability and the skill to distill data into meaningful insights, narrate the story behind the numbers, and influence decisions.
  • Comfort handling ambiguity and operating effectively in less structured environments, with a history of improving or building processes.
  • Background in managing product transitions such as phase-ins, phase-outs, SKU rationalization, or SKU changes.
  • A strong sense of ownership, with the confidence to question assumptions while staying focused on solutions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, plus familiarity with planning platforms and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work across functions and geographies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.

Work setup

This is a hybrid role with three onsite days each week.

Additional information

The role supports planning across freestanding stores, e-commerce, wholesale channels, and POP materials. It also involves close collaboration with headquarters teams and requires comfort working in a fast-evolving environment.
