Role overview

Nayt Technologies is hiring a developer to help grow its footprint in the decentralized finance space. The position suits someone who moves well in fast-changing environments, enjoys solving difficult problems, and has a genuine interest in trading and DeFi.

About the team

• The team has 16 members in total, including people who previously worked at Maven Securities, Tianyan Capital, Radix, and XY Capital.
• The company operates from Singapore and Shanghai, and also has team members working remotely from Europe.

What the company is looking for

• A self-starting developer who can react quickly to time-sensitive market opportunities; prior trading exposure is a strong advantage.
• Someone who works well with others, but is also comfortable owning tasks end to end and delivering independently.
• A person who can collaborate asynchronously with remote teammates and use initiative to move work forward without constant supervision.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Go, Rust, C++, or Python.
• Experience building on EVM or Solana, with both being preferred.
• Understanding of DeFi; direct experience with DeFi trading will be considered a plus.

Key responsibilities

• Develop trading systems and smart contracts that can respond to short-lived market opportunities.
• Investigate, design, and test new DeFi trading approaches.
• Review trading data to improve execution quality and overall performance.
• Build monitoring utilities that identify promising opportunities early so the team can act quickly.
• Help strengthen the company’s cross-chain trading infrastructure.
• Work closely with the broader DeFi team to explore new concepts and growth opportunities.

Evaluation

Performance will be reviewed by the Head of DeFi together with a DeFi Developer.
