About the Role
The Brehon Hotel & Spa is seeking a Day Porter to join its hospitality team in Killarney, County Kerry. This position suits someone who enjoys working in a guest-facing environment and contributing to a high standard of service throughout the hotel.
The hotel is known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong guest service focus, and emphasis on staff development. The role offers a chance to grow within a professional setting where teamwork and service quality are highly valued.
Key Duties
- Prepare conference and function spaces according to the conference booking sheet and the hotel’s required standards.
- Maintain a noticeable presence around the property so guest questions and requests are handled quickly and efficiently.
- Help guests with luggage and take room service requests when needed.
- Deliver room service in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep all public areas of the hotel consistently presentable and up to standard.
- Support food and beverage service as required.
- Respond to guest concerns and complaints courteously, with the aim of resolving issues and maintaining satisfaction.
- Carry out floor checks to help support guest safety and security.
