Role overview
This is a full-time remote opening for a Data Partnerships Lead, supporting a client focused on building and expanding its data ecosystem. The position is centered on creating strategic data relationships that improve product capabilities and contribute to revenue growth through data monetization.
What the role involves
- Spot and assess prospective data partners that can strengthen the platform’s data network and support model improvements.
- Lead discussions and close data licensing deals while keeping business priorities and compliance obligations in balance.
- Partner with engineering teams to bring third-party data into current pipelines and platform workflows.
- Track how each partnership performs and suggest ways to improve results or broaden the relationship.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure partnerships meet regulatory requirements and internal policy standards.
Experience and skill expectations
- Prior experience handling data licensing negotiations and partnership development in technology or AI-led environments.
- Clear understanding of data monetization approaches and the infrastructure that supports data products.
- Comfort using data analysis methods and tools to evaluate the business impact of partnerships.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, product, and legal teams.
- Working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy regulations that affect data partnerships.
