Role Overview

This position focuses on leading data management and data privacy work for client engagements in Riyadh Region. The professional will be responsible for building and improving governance and privacy frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and supporting client delivery from assessment through implementation and review.

Core Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of designing, rolling out, and strengthening data management and privacy frameworks in line with local and international regulations and standards such as DAMA DMBoK, ISO 27701, GDPR, KSA NDMO, and PDPL.
  • Oversee client assignments related to data management and privacy, making sure work is completed on time, meets quality expectations, and stays within the defined project scope.
  • Create, assess, and improve data protection controls covering areas such as data classification, data handling, vendor and third-party risk, data flow mapping, Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), and privacy impact assessments.
  • Carry out maturity assessments, compliance checks, and audits to measure alignment with applicable laws, standards, and internal governance requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, training, awareness programs, and stakeholder discussions to strengthen privacy and data governance practices.
  • Evaluate deliverables, reports, policies, procedures, and framework documents to ensure they are accurate, consistent, and professionally sound.
  • Contribute to business development through proposal development, client-facing presentations, and support for service offerings in Data Management, Data Privacy, and Data Security.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in technology, data management, data governance, data privacy, or data security.
  • Solid knowledge of data management and governance frameworks, along with familiarity with regulations and standards such as DAMA, ISO 27701, GDPR, KSA NDMO, PDPL, and comparable international guidance.
  • Professional certifications like CDMP, CIPM, CDPO, CDPSE, CIPP, or similar credentials will be considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage client relationships and deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
