Data Engineer

Role Overview

Radiansys Inc. is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a day-shift position for a professional with 6+ years of experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build, improve, and support data pipelines that power AI-related work.
• Partner with data scientists to clarify data needs and make sure the right data is available and reliable.
• Create data transformation and processing logic to ready information for analysis and model development.
• Track pipeline health and tune systems for better speed, scalability, and stability.
• Keep up with current data engineering tools, methods, and industry practices.
• Help shape low-level technical architecture and design based on the broader solution and business goals.
• Work in an agile team to break down stories into manageable implementation tasks.
• Look for tools, frameworks, and process improvements that can make the team more efficient.
• Take ownership of the quality of your own deliverables from start to finish.
• Communicate clearly with teammates throughout the full implementation cycle.

Experience and Education

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Experience in the airline sector or a comparable industry is preferred.

Technical Requirements

Applicants should be comfortable programming in Python, Java, or Scala and working with data processing tools such as Apache Spark. A strong grasp of databases and SQL is required. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an added advantage.
