About the role
This position is for a meticulous Customer Service Assistant who can support day-to-day e-commerce operations with strong attention to detail. The work centers on Shopify order handling, status updates, vendor coordination, invoice checks, and purchase order monitoring. We are seeking someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing customer emails as well as communication with suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Handle Shopify order processing and updates while maintaining accuracy and timely completion.
- Liaise with vendors to arrange shipments, monitor order progress, and help resolve operational issues.
- Respond to customer questions through email and other messaging channels.
- Review invoices and keep purchase orders organized and reconciled.
- Work with Excel, Shopify, VRP, Brightpearl, Slack, and Front App to keep workflows moving smoothly.
- Coordinate effectively between vendors, customers, and internal teams to support seamless operations.
Requirements
The right candidate should bring prior exposure to customer service, e-commerce, or order management work. Hands-on experience with Shopify and vendor-facing order support is important. Strong command of Excel, VRP, Brightpearl, Slack, and Front App is also expected, along with clear written and spoken communication. Since this is a remote role, the person should be able to work independently and stay on top of tasks without close supervision.
