Role Overview
We are looking for a Compliance Officer for a Sharjah-based Free Zone organization that helps businesses establish themselves smoothly within the UAE. This is a full-time role based in Sharjah, UAE, with compensation offered according to experience and qualifications.
Key Duties
- Maintain adherence to Free Zone authority rules, UAE legal requirements, and AML/CFT standards on an ongoing basis.
- Track company operations, licence status, and regulatory submissions to make sure renewals and filings are completed on time.
- Carry out compliance reviews, risk evaluations, and internal checks.
- Spot possible regulatory violations, weaknesses in controls, and other areas that need deeper review, then prepare inspection notes and formal reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in compliance, business, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of overall experience in compliance, preferably within a Free Zone or a regulated UAE setting.
- Strong eye for detail and solid communication ability.
- Capability to review documents carefully and identify regulatory concerns.
