About Loomis

Role Overview
As a Coin Processor, you will work with your team to keep coin inventory organized and available within a cash vault environment for Loomis customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Count, sort, and manage coin bags that can weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Store pallets of boxed coin correctly and keep inventory organized.
Working Conditions
- The job is performed in a large vault area with minimal or no natural light exposure.
- This is a full-time position that may average 40 to 50 hours per week.
- The schedule can require at least 5 days within a 6-day period.
Physical and Job Qualifications
As part of the hiring process, candidates must complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE). Required physical testing includes:
- Vertical lifting of 25 lbs from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor once.
- Lift-carry tasks involving 18 lbs from 1 inch to 44 inches and transferring it horizontally for 15 feet, repeated 4 times.
- Lift-carry tasks involving 18 lbs from 10 inches to 36 inches and transferring it horizontally for 300 feet, completed once.
- Lift-carry tasks involving 50 lbs from 10 inches to 36 inches and transferring it horizontally for 2 feet, repeated 2 times.
- Horizontal pushing/pulling force of 47 lbs on a sled with one non-dominant arm for 1 foot, repeated 2 times.
- Repeated hand squeezing using a Jamar Hand Dynamometer with force up to 30 lbs in both hands, repeated 4 times per hand.
