Role Overview
This full-time driving role is based in Nelson and runs Tuesday through Friday. The position involves delivering gas bottles to customer locations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport gas cylinders safely to customer premises.
- Carry out stock counts and compliance-related checks with care and accuracy.
- Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner when dealing with customers.
- Drive tanker trucks and bottle trucks as needed.
Skills and Experience
- A valid New Zealand Class 2 driver licence with a clean driving history.
- At least 2 years of experience operating Class 2 or larger vehicles in New Zealand.
- The ability to work on your own and organise time efficiently.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of the job.
- Dependable transport arrangements and strong punctuality.
- A forklift licence and Dangerous Goods endorsement are beneficial; training may be offered.
