Role Overview

Busnes@LlandrilloMenai is recruiting a Caretaker to join the Estates Team at Llangefni. In this role, you will help keep the College operating smoothly by supporting day-to-day caretaking duties and contributing to a coordinated, professional and reliable service across the site.

Working hours: 37 hours per week

Shift pattern: Flexible shift work is required

Salary: £26,108.68 per year, plus a 10% allowance for shift work

Leave entitlement: 28 days of annual leave, increasing to 32 days after five full years of continuous holiday service (holiday year runs from 01 September to 31 August). This also includes all normally observed public holidays, decided each year, plus up to 5 efficiency closure days annually, also determined each year.

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme

Role Context

Caretaking is treated as a key College function. Staff in this area are part of the Estates Team and are expected to work together in a consistent, corporate and coordinated way to support College operations at all times.
