About the Role
Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, develops safety-critical software for the aerospace, defence, and transport sectors. The company is hiring C++ Engineers for on-site positions in Germany to support strategic Airbus-related projects. Work locations may include areas in Bavaria and Hamburg.
Compensation and Support
The role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of €57,000 to €65,000. Relocation support is available, including help with accommodation searches, administrative assistance, and German language training. For the first year, the company will also handle the German tax return process. The position comes with a permanent German contract and is tied to long-term project work.
Key Work Areas
- Build and maintain C++ software used for simulation and test-support systems.
- Improve the framework architecture for middleware and real-time application layers.
- Use modern tools, techniques, and engineering practices in day-to-day development.
- Support virtual engineering activities that combine simulations with real hardware environments.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is suited to professionals with a background in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, along with practical, hands-on C++ experience. Strong English proficiency at C1 level is mandatory. German at C1 level is an added advantage. Only applicants who are citizens of a European country are eligible.
