Role summary

Working under the direction of the Restaurant Manager, this position is responsible for delivering warm, efficient, and timely food and beverage service while following brand standards, guest preferences, and the Mondrian Doha service vision.

Key duties

• Prepare the bar for service and complete closing breakdowns at the end of the shift.
• Clean, wash, and polish all glassware to presentation standards.
• Prepare beverages consistently, maintaining quality and presentation across every order.
• Keep the bar organized and clean while following health and safety rules.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish bar supplies to the required par.
• Understand how the restaurant, lounge, and bar operate and are set up.
• Stay fully informed about all beverage menus available in the hotel.
• Deliver courteous, professional, and guest-focused service at all times.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with management.
• Keep up to date on all food menu items.
• Prepare tables before service, then clear and reset them afterward.
• Follow company standards and procedures when serving drinks to guests.
• Follow company standards and procedures when transporting food from the kitchen to guests.
• Ensure dining and service areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations, remain clean and orderly.
• Complete all cleaning tasks within the assigned timeframe and to company standards.
• Carry out all opening and closing duties thoroughly.
• Maintain strong table service and table maintenance throughout service.
• Stay alert, proactive, and attentive during all service periods.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of product details and service procedures.
