Role Overview

New Engen is hiring a B2B Copywriter to support one of its major enterprise clients within Donut Studios. In this position, you will partner with the Lead Content Strategist and Senior B2B Copywriter to turn content plans into clear, engaging copy for technical and executive readers. The role is practical and hands-on, with room to deepen your knowledge of enterprise technology while advancing your writing skills in a team setting.

What You Will Do

You will create B2B content across multiple formats using approved briefs and messaging structures, help make technical information easy to understand, and ensure the writing aligns with broader campaign goals. You will also revise work based on senior feedback, keep quality high across several projects, and stay current on developments in cloud computing, AI/ML, and enterprise technology.

Key Focus Areas

• Develop polished B2B assets such as solution briefs, thought leadership pieces, case studies, editorial content, and related marketing materials.
• Turn technical source information into copy that is accurate, approachable, and engaging.
• Execute content that supports strategy, business priorities, and audience expectations.
• Use feedback from senior team members to improve future work and strengthen editorial judgment.
• Manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and keep writing consistent with the client’s voice, style guide, and messaging framework.
• Research emerging trends in cloud, AI/ML, and enterprise technology to keep content relevant and well-informed.

Experience and Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience writing B2B content, preferably for enterprise technology, SaaS, or similar technical businesses.
• A writing portfolio that shows strong B2B marketing samples and the ability to work within brand standards.
• Proven ability to convert complex technical ideas into copy that is easy for the target audience to understand.
• Background working with strategists, editors, or senior creatives on high-quality content development.
• Strong attention to detail and solid time management across overlapping deadlines.
• Openness to feedback and a clear interest in continuing to improve as a writer.
• Comfort with, or eagerness to learn about, cloud computing, SaaS, AI/ML, and enterprise technology.
• Preferred experience writing for AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or another enterprise technology brand.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $56,500 to $63,000 per year. Final pay will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, and the range reflects the market where the position is intended to be hired.

Location and Work Setup

This is a remote contract role based in the United States. New Engen also supports distributed employees across the country and has offices in Seattle, New York, and Northwest Arkansas.
