Role overview
This role sits within the secretarial and compliance function and is focused on keeping corporate governance activities accurate, timely, and aligned with applicable regulatory obligations. The position involves coordinating statutory matters, maintaining required company records, supporting board-level processes, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key accountabilities
- Ensure company compliances are handled systematically and within the required timelines across relevant regulatory areas, including corporate law, SEBI, MCA, stock exchange requirements, and RBI-related matters.
- Track statutory compliance requirements, coordinate with internal teams, and follow up to make sure filings are completed within prescribed deadlines.
- Prepare governance-related guidelines, SOPs, and document templates whenever needed to strengthen compliance controls and good governance practices.
- Maintain statutory registers, minute books, and other records required under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and translate them into practical implementation plans.
- Prepare and submit forms, returns, applications, and other documents for filing with MCA, stock exchanges, and similar authorities.
- Work with auditors, regulators, and internal or external stakeholders on secretarial and compliance matters.
- Support secretarial audits as required.
- Assist in organizing and conducting Board meetings, including related coordination and documentation support.
