Assistant Operations Manager

Role overview

Fast Integrated Services is looking for an accomplished Assistant Operations Manager to support the delivery of major facility maintenance projects in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day operational oversight, help ensure work is completed safely, and keep multiple projects moving according to schedule and quality expectations.

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance activities across several projects.
• Shape and roll out execution plans that support strong operational performance.
• Set up project timelines, track budgets, manage resources, and review performance indicators.
• Work closely with project teams and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintain regular coordination with clients.
• Ensure all work follows health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Spot project risks early and put practical mitigation measures in place.
• Improve productivity and make better use of available resources.
• Guide, coach, and evaluate construction and maintenance teams to strengthen performance.
• Prepare status updates and present progress reports to senior leadership.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in construction project delivery, including at least 5 years in a senior management position.
• Hands-on experience handling multiple projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership abilities, stakeholder management skills, and clear communication.
• Candidate must be of Arabic nationality.

This position is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time, onsite role focused on facility maintenance operations and large-scale project delivery.
