Role overview
This position is for an experienced, self-motivated professional to support the coordination, growth, execution, and administration of biogas projects. You will act as the main point of contact for Vista Contracting & Investment Global, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung C&T Corporation, while working with internal and external stakeholders to move projects from early development through EPC completion and into operations.
Project coordination and ongoing portfolio management
- Oversee day-to-day biogas project coordination, monitor key milestones, and share timely status reports with management.
- Manage a portfolio of 10 active biogas projects in India being handled through an SPC.
- Follow critical timeline checkpoints, including stages such as capital injection, to support on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams across the Seoul office, project offices, and project teams, as well as external parties such as banks, consultants, and government authorities.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and internal approvals in line with company policy, SPC governance, and regulatory expectations.
Business development and market expansion
- Gather market intelligence on prospective clients, partners, competitors, and other players in the biogas industry.
- Carry out feasibility assessments and track developments in the biogas and wider renewable energy markets to support investment decisions and identify opportunities and partners across APAC.
- Build familiarity with foreign investment procedures, project financing, and capital injection processes in APAC countries, with a primary focus on Southeast Asia.
- Support discussions and negotiations with government bodies, partners, financial institutions, and other stakeholders, especially for biogas planning and approvals.
- Work closely with the Seoul office and other branch teams to prepare documentation for new market entries and opportunity proposals.

This role may require occasional travel.
Eligibility
Candidates should bring relevant project coordination experience, preferably in renewable energy, waste-to-energy, or biogas-related work, and be comfortable operating in a multicultural, multi-stakeholder environment.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, ideally within renewable energy, waste-to-energy, or biogas projects.
- Experience with EPC work in biogas projects will be considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of anaerobic digestion systems and biogas upgrading methods.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present information clearly and build effective interpersonal relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and solve problems effectively.
- Comfort working with diverse teams and stakeholders across cultures and functions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
