Role Overview
The Architecture Department helps shape the homes and communities the company delivers. Working with division leadership, you will help create residential designs that are visually appealing, practical, and aligned with market needs. This position focuses on producing accurate, efficient, creative, and timely design work while also supporting the ongoing improvement of the product portfolio across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate assigned design work with Architecture leadership and division teams to develop fresh, market-aligned home plans.
- Study market movement, buyer preferences, and competing offerings to shape design direction.
- Make sure each design supports construction needs, cost targets, operational goals, and marketing priorities.
- Keep architectural detailing and design standards consistent so the brand remains strong and construction quality is supported.
- Check projects for adherence to relevant building codes and internal company standards.
- Handle individual assignments with limited supervision while balancing several tasks and deadlines at once.
- Use strong residential design principles through every phase of project development.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture. NCARB certification is considered an advantage. Prior experience in residential architecture is required. Strong working knowledge of Revit and MS Office is expected; familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred but not mandatory.
The role also calls for the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, strong organization, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team. Success in a fast-moving, demanding environment, along with a positive attitude and high energy, is important.
