Accountant

Role Overview

AD Ports Group is hiring an Accountant to support the Cluster Revenue Assurance team. In this role, you will help keep financial records accurate, maintain revenue-related documentation, and prepare reports that support month-end and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following areas:

• Prepare invoices for business units within the cluster in a timely and accurate manner.
• Keep revenue records aligned with the invoices issued.
• Check, assign, record, and reconcile revenue transactions.
• Compile monthly summary reports showing customer-wise invoices and revenue.
• Close month-end revenue books for each business unit on time and with accuracy.
• Review revenue summaries for completeness and match them against the ledger to confirm accuracy.
• Work with internal and external customers to resolve disputes.
• Prepare reconciliations related to customer invoicing.
• Calculate rebates and discounts according to the relevant customer agreements.
• Support recurring internal and external audits by preparing required data sets, summaries, and reports.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a finance-related degree and have at least 5 years of experience. English language proficiency is required, and Arabic will be considered an advantage.
