Workplace & Employee Experience Specialist

Role overview

Plaud is hiring a founding Workplace & Employee Experience Specialist for its Singapore office. This position is responsible for shaping the day-to-day employee journey, from the atmosphere of the workplace to the programs and experiences that strengthen culture and connection. The role also carries the operational responsibilities needed to keep the office functioning smoothly.

Core responsibilities

• Create and run employee experience initiatives, cultural activities, and engagement programs that help make the Singapore office an excellent place to work.
• Organize company events from start to finish, including team outings, celebrations, office open days, and cultural moments.
• Help design onboarding experiences and employee touchpoints that align with the company’s culture and values.
• Oversee daily office operations, manage vendor partnerships, and coordinate facilities matters to maintain a high-quality work environment.
• Handle executive support, visiting business guests, and other workplace requests with care, professionalism, and discretion.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of experience in employee experience, workplace operations, or office management, preferably in a technology company or other fast-moving environment. You should be motivated by people, culture, and building settings where teams can do their best work. Experience independently planning and delivering events or engagement initiatives is important, along with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels of the organization. The role suits someone who is self-driven, takes ownership naturally, and is comfortable operating with limited structure from the outset.
