Role Summary

The Technician Carpenter is responsible for completing carpentry and related maintenance work across the property. The role requires practical problem-solving, careful handling of tools and materials, and the ability to follow schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all carpentry-related tasks and connected duties across the property to a consistently high standard.
• Complete assigned work independently and ensure tasks are finished as required.
• Respond promptly to issues arising in the work area and escalate relevant findings to management.
• Monitor workshop inventory, keep accurate stock records, and place material requests when needed.
• Follow the daily work plan and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Check, maintain, and inspect carpentry tools and equipment so they remain in proper working order.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth completion of projects.
• Follow health, safety, and workshop best practices at all times.
• Inspect completed work to confirm it meets quality standards and required specifications.
• Set up workspaces and prepare the needed materials before starting each task.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Certificate in Carpentry and bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. Strong communication skills in English are also required.
