- Prepare recurring weekly and monthly reports.
- Handle additional analysis and tasks requested by the manager.
Required Experience and Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of supply chain planning experience. Background in mergers and acquisitions is a plus, and APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is desirable. Experience with ERP systems is needed, with SAP considered an advantage. Strong written and spoken communication skills are necessary, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and intermediate to advanced Excel. Familiarity with Six Sigma or LEAN methods is a plus. The role also calls for strong problem-solving ability and comfort working under pressure. Travel of about 10% is required by car, plane, or rail.
Additional Skills and Knowledge
The role requires the ability to read and interpret business publications, technical procedures, and government regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and manuals; and present information clearly to managers, clients, customers, and the public. You should also be able to work with calculations involving percentages, proportions, interest, discounts, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry. Sound judgment is needed to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and to handle situations involving multiple variables.
Physical Requirements
This position is mostly desk-based, with regular sitting and frequent speaking or listening. At times, the employee may need to stand, walk, use hands for handling or grasping, reach, or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The role may involve lifting or moving up to 10 pounds occasionally. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
