About the Role
Netflix is seeking a Programmatic Sales Solutions Lead to grow revenue from programmatic advertising by strengthening relationships with customers and partners, influencing advertiser investment decisions, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes. The role focuses on expanding budget commitments by showing how audience-led programmatic strategies create value, building strong business cases, and making activation across programmatic platforms smooth and effective.
Success in this position will be judged by increased programmatic spend through advisory partnerships, the ability to shape stakeholder decisions, the delivery of technical and strategic solutions that unlock additional investment, and overall revenue results across priority accounts.
You will work remotely from Germany and should expect regular travel to client locations as well as Netflix's Berlin office.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted expert on programmatic buying, DSPs, and ad tech to improve automation and operational efficiency for Netflix customers.
- Coordinate scalable activation paths and work closely with internal sales teams to create programmatic-first proposals that encourage adoption and spending.
- Develop and sustain strong partnerships with major clients, agencies, DSPs, and platform partners to help shape investment choices.
- Create persuasive, insight-led value stories using case studies and measurement frameworks that demonstrate the business impact and return on investment of programmatic media.
- Lead discovery conversations and consultative discussions with advertisers so their programmatic investment aligns with marketing priorities and growth goals.
- Collaborate with DSPs, SSPs, resellers, aggregators, and data providers to build efficient audience activation routes that support revenue growth.
- Work with agency and direct client sales teams to design compelling programmatic-first proposals that drive adoption and investment.
- Represent Netflix at industry events and client meetings, positioning the company as a leader in programmatic innovation.
- Set, track, and deliver clear sales and revenue targets for programmatic media solutions.
- Use data, case studies, and measurement approaches to prove the ROI of programmatic investments.
- Shape, implement, and continuously improve go-to-market strategy so programmatic solutions are seen as both a core and complementary part of advertiser media plans.
- Help commercial teams and customers build capability in programmatic workflows today and AI-driven workflows in the future.
Requirements
- Business-level fluency in both English and German.
- At least 8 years of experience in programmatic technical sales, ad tech consulting, or audience strategy, with a strong record of driving revenue growth.
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience influencing advertisers and decision-makers to invest in programmatic solutions.
- Excellent client-facing communication and consultative selling ability, including the skill to deliver clear and convincing presentations.
- Strong technical knowledge of DSPs, audience segmentation, and data-led programmatic activation.
- Interest in genAI and new agentic advertising developments.
- Deep understanding of audience activation in programmatic advertising.
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and manage complex commercial conversations.
- Willingness to travel frequently to clients and the Berlin office.
