About the Role

This remote Reporting Analyst Assistant role supports the senior consulting team on the global logistics engagement. The position centers on organizing data, checking for inconsistencies, and helping build reporting structures that the client will use in day-to-day operations. You will not be leading the project or running client meetings; instead, your focus will be on making sure the numbers are accurate and the documentation is complete.

The role offers exposure to how experienced consultants handle difficult implementations, stalled cloud transitions, and underused dashboards. It is a hands-on position with an emphasis on data quality, clarity, and communication. As a fully remote team, collaboration happens through standard communication tools, giving you flexibility to work from your own location while staying connected to the wider project group.

Responsibilities

• Examine financial datasets from the logistics client and flag gaps or inconsistencies in reporting logic.
• Support the manual review of monthly reports to confirm they match the agreed single source of truth.
• Revise configuration guides and technical documentation so the client team can manage the system after handover.
• Build simple tables and data visualizations based on instructions from senior consultants.
• Test new reporting functions to verify that the correct information is being pulled from ERP and EPM systems.
• Keep project files organized and monitor the status of assigned data-cleanup tasks.
• Join internal team check-ins to review milestones and discuss technical blockers.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in how data moves through large organizations, especially in finance or logistics settings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including standard formulas and the ability to manage large spreadsheets.
• Strong plain-language writing skills for creating instructions and documentation aimed at non-technical users.
• A careful working style with strong attention to detail and a habit of spotting unusual numbers.
• Comfort with fully remote work, including proactive communication and solid time management.
• Willingness to learn how enterprise platforms such as Oracle or SAP operate, even without prior professional experience.
