Role Overview

Zahr Freighters is hiring a Logistics Executive for its Dubai operations team. Key Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and keep track of routine logistics and transport activities.
• Arrange shipments and help ensure goods are collected and delivered on time.
• Work closely with customers, transport partners, warehouse teams, and drivers.
• Monitor shipments and share timely status updates on deliveries.
• Draft shipping paperwork, delivery documentation, invoices, and logistics summaries.
• Oversee inventory movement and liaise with warehouse staff to maintain stock/material availability.
• Address transport disruptions, delayed shipments, and customer issues quickly and effectively.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and transport regulations.
• Look for ways to make logistics operations more efficient and reduce running costs.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Between 2 and 4 years of hands-on experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Solid understanding of shipment handling, freight paperwork, and inventory control.
• Comfortable using MS Office tools and logistics management systems.
• Strong written and spoken communication, along with good organization and analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage pressure and handle several priorities at once.
• Familiarity with UAE logistics rules and customs processes will be considered an advantage.
